This is a list of computer locations and some examples 3 or 4 letter codes. These are purely examples as our database of codes is far too big to list them all. If your box code is not listed here, it does not mean we cannot make a chip. Simply contact us with your code (see below for more info).

What four-letter code do we need for the PROM or MEMCAL? Click here for help

Check the Instructions page for easy PROM and MEMCAL removal procedures and installation. Some performance MEMCALs will be piggy-backed to an adapter. Pay attention to installation procedures and ALWAYS use this page as a guideline.

Chip BCC "codes" are located on the white paper label that's stuck to the computer. You can also find the chip code by removing the lid from the computer (two 1/4" screws) and checking what letter code is on the silver or white label attached to the MEMCAL or PROM chip.

If there is no removable chip (no removable cover, or "knock module" only under the cover), it's newer than 1992 and it's a "flash" only computer. We will need your VIN number and computer service number to send you a performance computer.

Once you have those letters, we can program your chip!

When calling or emailing an order, we need to know the computer code, make, model, and year of your car, the engine size, and any aftermarket parts you may have added already -- remember our performance chips are computer code specific -- that's why they're the best!!
